Choosing a classic typeface, I created a composition using ornaments, text and images. The composition was intended to celebrate the style of Bodoni's typeface. What attracted me to the typeface was the high stroke contrast and quite modern - looking serifs. I am impressed by how contemporary the fonts still seem despite being designed over 200 years ago. I also enjoyed exploring the many ornaments Bodoni's designs had to offer.
